Easter Eggs

I saw the shaving cream/food coloring technique online for coloring eggs, but wanted them to be food safe still.  We used cool whip and food coloring and while the kids had a blast getting messy with the process (and eating the cool whip--I'm looking at you Ian!) the eggs didn't turn out very colored.  We ended up doing the old tried and true method of dye in the cups.  We did use our own brown chicken eggs and got these fun earthy colors this year though!
